Farce

When a ship hits an obstacle in it's way, it's shaken. However, it doesn't sink everytime. For a ship to hit rock bottom, it takes something from within it to rupture. A hole. This hole gives way for the water to rush in, negating all it's chances to stay afloat. Every day, something or the other hits us. Sometimes, it's the cause of our wakening, the other times, just something that leaves a mark. Everything that happens to us, everything that hits us, good or bad, leaves a mark. Some call it a scar, some think of it as the symbol of thriving, and some think of it as nothing but a mere mark. Whatever you use to conceal them, they will always be there. Whatever be your rebuttal against them, whichever mask you put on, in the dark of the night, when you think no one is looking, you reveal them. Maybe to yourself, but they're out there.
