Kingsman

To think that to be great is to have no flaws is a folly.

For one that thinks that being great requires you to have no flaws, is no great man, as it is essential to be flawed for one to be great.
Acceptance makes you great.
A great man is very well acquainted with his flaws, and understands that others are flawed too.

A man pretending to be great is pretending to have no flaws.
Well, for them greatness lies in that, but little do they know, that there is no greater killer of the truth, than pretence.
These men aren't great because great men stand for the truth, no matter what string pulls them back. And with truth out of the picture, greatness remains nothing but a farce.

A great man is one with virtues as strong as his opinions, and ideals as just as his calls.

But, does that mean every great man is a hero?

No.
For, great men aren't bound with their strings of extremist righteousness.
Heroes can be great men, but not every hero is a great man.

So to ask me, I'd rather be much more than just a hero. A great man, a king perhaps.
Or even better, a queen. As humanity knows, a king is defenceless without his queen, even in the game of chess.

    I like it. I would be quoting you in one of the posts. Great mean are acquainted with their flaws.
    They accept their flaws so well that even the world begins to accept that. Greatness lies in what you truly are, even after the presence of those flaws.

Privilege and Burden

The crown isn't just a mere ornament to be worn, it's a privilege and a burden.  For you sit with your head high, the crown embellished with precious stones, while the others bow. Privilege.  But, you can not look down, for even a slight tilt of the head, can make you lose the crown. Burden.  For you can wave and smile when thousands gather around to get just one glimpse of you. Privilege.  But you can't laugh your heart out when you find something funny in front of those same people. Burden.  But it's rare to find a person who can do both. The crown has the final say in everything yet the bearer of the crown doesn't have a voice.  But the true monarch can't be just anybody, because the bearer of the crown might be a puppet of these strings, but a monarch is one who controls everything. For those who believe in themselves, it is a known fact that the key to success is acceptance. They like to believe that the world might not see them as they are, but it is their understanding of themselves that drives the world behind them.
